News From Pastor Gerald: Batwa Outreach
We have now returned from our most recent Crusade and humanitarian outreach in Mufumba Batwa Community in Kisoro, Uganda, Africa, and we wanted to say a genuine and heartfelt thank you to those of you who have prayed and given of your substance. So many of you responded and helped make an Eternal difference!
The gospel went forth with simplicity and great power and the results are that 177 precious souls were added to the Kingdom of heaven! Souls were saved not only on the Crusade grounds, but even at the night prayer that happened at our new convert's home Mr. Byaruhanga Aron and his wife, Jerurinah, where the family brought the witch crafts they had kept in there house and were burnt. Glory to God!
Much fear had gripped the hearts of the community and we believe it brought great encouragement to see our teams out meeting the needs of people both great and small...spiritually and practically! We fed and clothed many Batwa people and we were able to teach and impart to others the importance of Eternal Salvation!
Thanks to our ministry partners Sonya Samuell Schweighardt, Ole Albert, Terry Ann Albert, Rayna Jo Engle, Tino Qahoush, Jen Avellaneda, Jennifer Baguma, Johan Qahoush, Barbara Kyomu, Bishop Johnson Bakashaba, Amy Book McNeely, Amy Janelle Orchard, Tracy Cooke Wainwright, and everyone who helped both in prayers and donations for being the feet and hands of Jesus to the Batwa people.
We still need your donations and prayers as we are reaching out to the Kasovu Batwa Community in the coming week. We need food support , medical supplies, money for fuel, PA system, transport and anything you can help with that can change a life.
Please pray for the new church that was planted in Mufumba Batwa Community that God will be the head of this church and that through this church many Batwa and non Batwa people will come to Christ.
