We are headed back to Uganda on November 1 with our second American team!  God has been so good!  The American team is coming in two different groups.  The first team (8 people) leaves on November 1.  Our focus will be our farm project!  The second team from, Beautiful Feet International, will arrive on November 11.  They will be opening Masiiko Pregnancy Care Center.  We are so blessed by this opportunity to start the 17th international pregnancy care center!

From today until October 22:

Please pray for each team member by name. I ask that you pray Ephesians 3:14-21 over our team:
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever Amen.

Please especially pray for our team in Uganda as they are preparing for our American team. They have many preparations to get ready.

I also ask that you be in prayer for our normal monthly funds for food support for the month of November. We need to have this support by October 28 as it will need to be sent over. At the time of this writing we are still $2700 short. We trust God for the provision!

October 23- Our last week before we leave. Please pray for our team as this is typically the week where the enemy loves to attack. Begin praying for protection over everyone’s families that will be stateside. Pray that God will watch over their homes, spouses, children, grandchildren.

October 24- Pray that through final details, purchases and preparations, our eyes would remain fixed on God. Thank Him for this opportunity to serve on the mission field.
October 25- Please pray that any attacks of the enemy would be thwarted completely.

October 26- This is our final day for collecting donations for the orphan schools and the Masiiko (Hope) Pregnancy Care Center. Thank Him that mamas, babies, & orphans are
coming to know His Love.

October 27- Pray that He orchestrates every aspect of the final preparations. Thank Him that He goes before us, stands behind us and hems us in. Ask God to completely infuse us with His mighty strength. Pray for our team as many have fears that they need to let go and give to God.

October 28- Pray for our team in Uganda as they are finalizing all the details of our arrival. Pray for last sweet days with family stateside as we all work to make sure everything is in order for our departures. October 29- Please pray today that God will keep us covered in His healing touch, that we will remain healthy and able to do the mighty things He's called us to. Thank Him for being the Great Physician. Pray that our bodies will stay strong and that the team will be infused with great health both physically and spiritually!

October 30- Please begin praying for our flights and all those who will be on board. Pray for our pilots that they will be alert and filled with wisdom and discernment. Pray for the airline staff that they will see God through our team.

Please pray this over the entirety of this trip while we are on this side! The roads can be treacherous during the rainy season.

November 7- 2nd day of barn building. Please pray for safety, teamwork & good weather (it's the rainy season now). Thank Him for the chance to work alongside our Batwa brothers & sisters.

November 8- 3rd day on barn, 1st day on Chicken coop in Rubuguri school. Pray for His strength as we may grow weary. And thank Him that in our weakness He is strong.

November 9- Chicken coop in Nyanamo school. Pray that we can finish all 3 buildings. Thank Him that the chicken came first, and then the egg. In other words, that He always intended to provide for His creation. Pray for strength for the team: emotionally, physically and spiritually. This trip challenges ALL three of these areas!

November 10- Today we start building rabbit hutches. Pray for strong hands & backs, and wisdom using unfamiliar materials. Thank Him for the gift of flexibility in changing circumstances. Pray that our team remembers that it is God’s agenda and not our own. If things don’t go as “planned” that we will seek God and His direction! Pray for Melissa and Nellie as they will be flying to Rwanda today.

November 11- Build more rabbit hutches & Sonya picks up the pregnancy care team in Rwanda. Please continue to ask God for divine appointments and sensitivity in sharing the gospel. Thank Him for the leading of His Holy Spirit.

November 12- Joe preaches for Sunday worship. Please pray for God's Word to be shared and that many hearts will be reached. Also, ask God to send men over for pastoral training to raise up Godly leaders among the Batwa. Thank Him that we plant seeds but He brings the harvest. Pray for travel mercies as Pastor Gerald, Sonya, Melissa, and Nellie travel back to Uganda.

November 13- Pregnancy Care Training. Please pray for our team of volunteers that will be running the center as they receive their training. Pray that there is understanding of what needs to be done to make this a HUGE success. We have two long days of training, so pray that our minds will be alert. Purchase of farm animals. Pray once again for safe travel across precarious terrain on a 9 hour journey. Praise Him for His magnificent creation.

November 17- Explore Kampala market- capital of Uganda; Begin our homeward trek. Please pray for safe travels and all connections, but also as we begin debriefing from this amazing, life-altering adventure with Him, pray that we learn what He wants us to learn. Praise Him for the splendor of the world He created and all the people in it. Please begin praying for our flights and all those who will be on board. Pray for our pilots that they will be alert and filled with wisdom and discernment. Pray for the airline staff that they will see God through our team.

November 18- Arrive in the afternoon in Charlotte, NC. Please pray against the effects of jet lag, that we would get some rest on the plane, and that He would prepare our hearts for our return.
Thank Him for allowing us to sow seeds that He will harvest in the days and years to come.

Over the next few weeks: Please pray for our team as they transition back into “American life”. It can be very overwhelming after seeing many of the harsh conditions that the Batwa live in. Pray that their hearts will be forever changed through this trip and that God will continue to do a very strong work in and through them! Thank Him for His infinite, perfect, and complete Love. Praise Him that He is a GOOD God. Thank you all for standing with us during this great God adventure! We are so grateful for your support and know that battles were won in the heavenlies because of your prayers.
